We have strong momentum in the market, and are looking for an AE to help us hit our ambitious growth targets. As an early member of the sales team, you’ll be on fertile ground — we have a process that’s working, but you’ll have a lot of autonomy and responsibility to iterate on it and build a real playbook.

Build domain expertise in financial planning and analysis to serve as a thought partner to prospects and customers
Manage a “full-stack” sales process from pipeline generation all the way to closed won
Use MEDDPICC to qualify, track, and forecast deals through the sales process
Apply best-practices and first-principles thinking to evolve our sales process
You’ll Ideally
Have 1 to 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience (ideally B2B SaaS)
Be trained in MEDDPICC or other sales methodologies
Be comfortable with ambiguity — we’re still developing our sales playbook
Be comfortable working independently — we’re a lean, remote team where everyone is given ownership over their work

We’re building a new way to think and work with numbers. Causal is a tool for performing calculations, visualising data, and communicating with numbers. We take the good parts of spreadsheets and combine them with the good parts of programming, to make number-crunching fast, collaborative, and accessible to everyone. We are well-funded by some great VCs (Accel, Coatue, Passion Capital) and angel investors (Naval Ravikant, Scott Belsky, and many more) across the US and Europe.
We are a globally distributed team working remotely with members of our team on both sides of the Atlantic.
