What you’ll do…
You are the go-to source for up to the minute information for all aspects of Departmental Business Intelligence and Information: financial, headcount, hiring, budgetary, onboarding, event planning, process improvements, etc. This role is critical to this Divisions and Departments growth and success.
You will be a scheduler, facilitator, presenter, and host for Manager meetings. You will also be directly involved with presentations in Department meetings, and similar involvement in Division level meetings.
Project Management, Time Management, Data Accuracy, Attention to Detail, and advanced MS Excel skills are a must!
Professional experience with Annual Operational Plan (AOP), Power BI, and Tableau, is greatly desired.
LOCATION: San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ
This position will work a hybrid in office schedule.
Not fulltime remote.
Relocation is not offered at this time.
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, or related field
2-4yrs post academic professional experience with Business Analytics/ Business Intelligence in Finance/FP&A, M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, Business Operations, HR Operations, Sales Operations, or related
Superb attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity
Advanced Excel skills
Financial modeling, analytics, and strong quantitative skills
Professional experience in a cross functional setting
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work with and communicate with all levels of management
A stable work history and desire to build a long-term career
Professional experience in a large ($500+M), departmentalized company
Professional experience with AOP: creating, tracking, reporting, etc.
Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams across the organization to investigate and recommend solutions to partner questions and issues. Will have a focus on resource planning using metrics and benchmarking and aligning with group strategy. This role will have a focus on contractor management and guiding teams on how to add contractors.
Continuous Improvement and Support Strategy: Performs in-depth ongoing analysis of partner operations to track performance, identify inefficiencies and inform product and tools roadmap. Determines areas of improvement for partner operations and related tools and systems; Identifies and analyzes trends to identify root cause of medium to high complexity issues; Develops recommendations for solutions and proposes implementation plans for proposed solutions.
Partner Support and Resolution: Regularly coordinates with cross functional teams to ensure communications are aligned. This role will ensure coordination between finance and individual departments to allow for transparency in expense management. Provides and supports by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
