This position is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a medical provider and Registered Nurse (RN) in the clinic setting. Under the direction and supervision of the provider and RN the clinic LPN will carry out any duties delegated and requested by the midlevel provider which does not exceed the scope of their practice and licensure by the state. This position may require providing services to one or more age populations including neonate through geriatric in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
Graduate of a LPN School of Nursing
Excellent written and verbal communcation skills
PREFERRED:
Previous clinic experience
License/Certifications/Special Requirements: Possesses a current Illinois LPN license and / or any other LPN state license that employee is required to work.
Pay Status: NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have knowledge of the following: current clinical practices commonly implemented by the family practice nurse; medical terminology; Service Organization and office policies and procedures; all technical equipment used; use of personal protective equipment in compliance with DCD and OSHA guidelines; rules and regulations concerning child abuse reporting and guardianship. The patient population must be considered when assessing job knowledge required from the employee.
