Reporting to the Americas Marketing Activation team, as an Event Specialist will be responsible for leading the event management strategy that compliments a variety of Account-Based Marketing and Demand Generation campaigns. You are someone that has a passion for planning, executing, and managing third-party industry events, first-party networking events, and virtual webinars that engage attendees at each stage of the buyer’s journey.
Manage the event marketing strategy and logistics, including coordinating with venues, tradeshow partners, vendors, employees, and marketing teams.
Research, source, and select industry events that align with key verticals and overall sales objectives.
Collaborate with Global and Product Marketing teams to develop compelling topics and content for roundtables, booth messaging, keynote speakers, etc.
Collaborate with Sales, Inside Sales, and Account Management teams to develop a streamlined pre/post-show follow-up cadence that complements the success and ROI of each event.
Assist in event attendee registration, planning, and travel.
Source and manage unique event swag, including the ordering and fulfillment process.
Coordinate the shipping and logistics of marketing assets, swag, and booth materials ensuring timely arrival and departure of show materials, including troubleshooting of shipping materials when items are delayed.
Work with campaign managers to develop a multichannel promotion strategy that drives engagement, attendees, and thought leadership – pre and post-show.
Manage the event lead/prospect list process by working hand in hand with sales to determine high-priority prospects.
Work with multiple systems, including SalesForce.com, SalesLoft, and HubSpot, to import, track and measure event lead lists, including the development of lead nurture campaigns.
Develop a streamlined webinar strategy, built upon the ON24 platform, that can be replicated across 5-10 webinars annually.
Track and manage the annual event budget and related expenses.
Develop streamlined report data that tracks KPI metrics such as lead source, attendee, on-site meetings/engagement, booth leads, opportunities, and associated revenue.
Minimum 5-7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
B2B marketing experience required.
Bachelor’s degree required. Preference for degrees in the following or related areas: Communications, Journalism, English, Advertising, Marketing, etc.
Working knowledge of the BPO industry is a significant plus.
Can quickly learn about different industries and adopt the company’s value propositions
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects based on business-critical needs and meet deadlines.
Able to work in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment and manage projects across the organization.
Strong leadership style and ability to prioritize and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Proven project management skills.
High level of proficiency with various software applications programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other applications in the Office Suite.
Experience working with MarTech platforms such as On24, HubSpot, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, SalesLoft, etc.
Some travel required
