Primary Responsibilities:
This function is responsible for insurance premium collections. Positions in this function contact customers to determine reason for payment delinquency
Negotiate and advise on collection of overdue bills and take appropriate action to recover overdue payments
Handles unresolved inquiries/issues
Communicates and collaborates with superiors, peers, employees, internal and external customers, and others, as appropriate, on a regular basis, assuring proper flow of information
Responds to patient complaints and escalated issues to ensure the appropriate action for resolution occurs

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle and health/medical billing & collections
Intermediate level of proficiency in 10 key alpha/numeric data entry
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel. Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-past, deadline driven environment
Ability to work effectively in both team and individual environments
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and work independently to meet objectives

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada / New York City residents is $16.83 to $29.66.
