Work Location:
• Fully Remote – U.S.

Position: 
This role is responsible for facilitating Medicaid benefits for hospital customers. This is done by working with Federal and State agencies to provide all needed documentation to process the application in a timely manner.


Core Responsibilities: 
1. Monitors and fosters ongoing communications with government agencies regarding the status of claims.
2. Documents and updates internal database based on all daily activity.
3. Identifies and takes appropriate actions to complete and submit required financial, medical and personal information forms to support the client application process.
4. Diligently follows-up with institutions/businesses resolving issues ultimately affecting application approval.


5. Identifies appropriate escalation points and works with direct manager to resolve issues.
Requirements:
• Bilingual (Spanish) required
• High school diploma required. Associate degree, 4 year degree preferred
• Computer skills, including word processing, basic keyboard skills required
• Strong communication skills verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion without direct supervision


Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to establish strong agency relationships

New York and New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for New York City, NY and Westchester County, NY is $32,775 – $57,000.The salary range for Ithaca, NY is $28,500– $47,500.The salary range for Jersey City, NJ is $34,200 – $57,000.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Change Healthcare offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
