Intake Specialist – Care to Care

First point of contact for Care to Care (Stanson) network providers, physicians and members. Serve as liaison between Care to Care (Stanson) provider networks, physicians, and Health Plans. Ensure that both internal and external customers receive a level of service that exceeds their expectations.


Intake Specialist will utilize two methods of communication (inbound and outbound calls) and written correspondence. Respond and resolve questions and problems from network providers and imaging centers and/or facilities, members, and referring physicians. Intake Specialist also receives inbound calls on follow-up to existing authorization request either in process or processed.


*We are currently hiring for the 11:30 am – 8 pm EST shift*

Preferred qualifications

One (1) year experience as an Intake Specialist or equivalent position in a multi-function Contact Center setting
• One (1) year experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Experience with computer operation, automated database and standard PC business software including electronic mail, intranet and industry standard applications. Data entry experience, with multiple screens, is a plus.

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $34,000 – $64,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
