Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm Pacific Time Zone. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:
Perform daily, systematic reviews of unpaid accounts for the appropriate government, managed care, or commercial source in the assigned accounts receivable, identifying the correct responsible party for any unpaid balances.
Contact identified payer sources to resolve problems or issues with payment release.
Focus attention on payers with complex follow-up requirements, accounts with high dollar balances, aged accounts, and other advanced follow-up scenarios.
Transmit required documentation to third party payers for the purpose of resolving payments.
Ensure all payer contact is fully documented in the appropriate software application.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience of Epic
2+ years of experience of hospital insurance collections
Ability to work a flexible 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm Pacific Time Zone
Preferred Qualifications:
Computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and navigation, mouse and keyboarding skills
Telecommuting Requirements:
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada / New York City residents is $16.83 – $29.66.
