Job Description You have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our parts customers to educate them on the products and services available at Jim Burke Ford Lincoln. We will teach you about our rich history in this community and our quest to deliver ease and confidence to our customers. You will present products and services to our wholesale parts customers in a professional and informative fashion. The Wholesale Parts Outside Sales Representative will regularly call on current customers as well as new businesses while maintaining an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business. The ideal candidate has a college degree we prefer two years of automotive knowledge excellent communication and interpersonal skills (bilingual preferred) strong computer skills a positive attitude a confident and outgoing personality a clean DMV record a professional appearance and the ability to deliver world class customer service. Responsibilities
Visits current customer base on a regular schedule
Cultivates new customers on a regular basis
Develops sales strategies and helps develop sales presentation materials
Delivers information and product in person by phone and by webinar
Plans and manages workload and appointment schedules
Maintains accurate sales documentation
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all products accessories and enhancements
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Automotive & parts knowledge
One year of sales experience a plus (any industry)
Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public on a daily basis
Neat clean and professional appearance
Excellent customer service focus
Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients staff vendors and others
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Highly professional and dependable
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and the internet
Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
