This role is typically filled with a starting salary of $37648.


About the Job:

As the Community Employment Associate you will be responsible for assisting with client application processing and getting clients to the appropriate WorkOne Representative. In this position you will assist with gathering materials for presentations and other administrative needs of the WorkOne office.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Assist clients by answering questions related to WorkOne services and routing them to the appropriate representative.
  • Assist clients with filing out initial application in the WorkOne system.
  • Assist with tours and informational overview(s) of the office business activities and assets of the system for local state and federal officials.
  • Assist with job/hiring fairs events and materials for talent recruitment.
  • Provide technical assistance for customers using automated systems including all ICC (Indiana Career Connect) programs.

What You’ll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or a High School Equivalent (HSE).
  • Ability to adapt to policy changes.
  • Ability to prioritize and be detailed orientated.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and interact with different stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage relationships motivate and assist customers at various levels.
  • Ability to utilize State’s current client services program system.
  • Basic knowledge of utilizing Microsoft Programs such as Word Excel Power Point Outlook.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role does not provide direct supervision to direct reports.
