Health New Orleans School of Dentistry is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Hospital Admissions Technician 1 2 or 3. These positions are in a Career Progression Group.
As part of a Career Progression Group vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a (
Hospital Admissions Technician 1 2 or 3)
depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s). There is a Special Entrance Rate (
SER
) of $17.75 for the
HAT
3 and $16.50
HAT
2 and $14.03 for the
HAT
1per hour for this title.
This position requires applicants to take a Civil Service test. If you have not taken the 8500-
OSE
(Office Support Exam) test and received a passing score please contact Civil Service to take the test before applying.
Pre-employment Drug testing and Criminal Background check are required.

Training in a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for the required experience on the basis of six months of training for six months of experience.
Completion of a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for the required one year of experience.
College training will substitute for the required experience on the basis of 15 semester hours for six months of experience.
NOTE:
Business or technical school training with less than completion will only be credited in six month increments. Similarly college training will only be credited in 15 semester hour increments.
Any college hours or degree must be from an accredited college or university.
