This position serves training and performance consulting needs of client members by effectively designing, developing, and delivering training programs, seminars, workshops, and guidance to member-owner’s employees, ensuring transfer of knowledge to improve performance.  The incumbent will provide comprehensive programs, which will develop and enhance skills of our member’s employees and enhance the relationship with member-owners, and ultimately improve the success of their business.


Role Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive pre-conversion Credit/Debit/eCommerce training.  Provide post-conversion support, which includes critical decision-making, based on issues that arise; coordinate communication between member/owner executives and PSCU staff during conversion process while onsite
Partner with Learning Architect to design, develop, create, and update supplemental training materials to enhance training content, and delivery of training to members and PSCU employees


Perform needs analysis on a regular basis with credit unions, PSCU managers, supervisors, and staff to develop, maintain, and keep current existing classroom and self-paced training programs
Partner with Learning Architect to design, develop, maintain, and deliver interactive workshops, programs, and seminars for members and PSCU employees to enhance productivity and performance; develop exercises and reviews to assess participant’s knowledge and level of performance


Provide basic and advanced skills training for member/owner credit unions and PSCU staff.  This includes, but is not limited to: First Data system, and PSCU products, services, and financial solutions
Attain and master Level 1 & 2 Certification (as applicable) in member technical curricula within the first twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) months in the position and maintain proficiency; this includes Credit/Debit/eCommerce certification


Solidify and maintain strong member/owner relationships with minimum of 55 – 65 member/owners; serve as training contact; proactively communicate and anticipate training needs of member/owners, driving high client satisfaction scores
Become certified in design and facilitation of virtual and face-to-face learning as well as design and development of self-paced learning via various authoring tools
Serve as performance consultant for member-owner credit unions and PSCU staff in areas of certified content


Conduct analysis of the impact of training using all four levels of evaluation
Review and correct employee’s performance and production during training and transition into job function
Identify performance gaps during training and apply appropriate adult learning techniques to assist participants in reaching desired productivity levels
Apply appropriate judgment in reporting each participant’s performance identifying weaknesses and strengths, and make recommendation for improving performance


Maintain knowledge of validated techniques and theories of adult learning for development and implementation of training programs
Keep member relations and/or department management apprised of any issues that may warrant their attention with regard to member-owner credit union or PSCU staff
Assist coworkers in mentoring and knowledge transfer of certified content and development of conversion proficiency
Perform other duties as assigned


Role Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Adult Learning, or Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Master’s degree in adult education preferred.


Experience: 

Five (5) years training and development experience, including needs analysis, program development, training delivery, and performance consulting required.
Five (5) years professional knowledge and experience in financial services (credit cards, merchant activity, debit cards, lending, etc.) required.


Pay Equity

PSCU is committed to pay equity and a competitive benefits package. The typical annual hiring range for this position based on relevant experience and internal equity is:

$55,500.00to

$79,500.00*Note: The amount shown is based on full time annual salary and would be prorated based on role.


In addition this position is eligible for an incentive plan, based on performance.
