The Marketing Coordinator position assists in coordinating and implementing all marking initiatives within assigned regions including digital and print advertising lead generation public relations website and social media promotions and incentives customer communications and resort level activities. Additionally this position coordinates marketing activities which support the Sun Outdoors brand.

This position will be based out of the Mesa or Casa Grande Arizona area.


  • Coordinates and implements marketing activities that support assigned regions including digital and print advertising public relations website and social media promotions and incentives customer communications and resort level activities.
  • Ensures marketing initiatives are properly tracked and implemented within established timelines.
  • Supports Regional Marketing Managers by coordinating collating content and visuals and tracking initiatives.
  • Communicates with resort managers and the main office marketing team to ensure all materials are correctly branded and aligned with Sun Outdoors brand standards and business rules.
  • Coordinates all marketing activities that support the Sun Outdoors brand including digital and print advertising tradeshows website public relations (PR) video photography collateral and field/regional marketing needs.
  • Assists Public Relations (PR) Production Creative and Media teams to gather information place orders set meetings and share deliverables to our internal team and communicate with marketing vendors.
  • Assists Creative team with scheduling and coordination of video and photo shoots for Campspot as well as the Sun Outdoors brand including communication with regional teams and resorts.
  • Coordinates internal and external resources for the conversion of Sun Outdoors re-brand for all creative & collateral on property needs across the portfolio.
  • Utilizes brand approved templates to create marketing communications flyers brochures print/digital assets emails and newsletters.
  • Collects and coordinates marketing requests from resorts within the assigned regions.
  • Collaborates with Regional Marketing Managers and main office marketing team to prioritize and align initiatives with the marketing plan available budgets programs and timelines.
  • Collaborates with the main office team to execute on regional activities to support trade shows and other regional activities.
  • Ensures project assignments are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinates updates and attends marketing meetings takes notes and distributes to all attendees.
  • Collaborates with the main office team to update resort information and ensure resort photos and content is accurately represented on external booking websites.
  • Collects necessary information and approvals to complete campaign promotional request forms.
  • Utilizes approved systems to enable campaign tracking.
  • Attends acquisition meetings and submits marketing requests to support the integration of new property acquisitions into Sun’s marketing eco-system.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.


  • Associates Degree in Marketing (Required)
  • 1 year marketing experience including advertising and/or market communication
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined to work remotely and independently to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design.
  • Working knowledge of managing social media platforms including Facebook Twitter and Instagram.
  • Experience with InDesign Photoshop and/or Adobe.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Flexibility to quickly shift priorities based on business demands.
