This is a work-from-home position, but must work east coast hours.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for various aspects of application solution creation through multiple avenues of delivery and the overall planning, execution and implementation of State Regulatory related development projects. The position will develop and assist with complex reporting on provider data for regulatory compliance filings applicable to the organization. The incumbent will utilize their expertise and available tools to support the execution and maintenance of operational, client and regulatory initiatives to ensure continual success.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze regulatory filing reporting requirements in order to ensure that Healthcare Economics can develop solutions that meet the regulatory filing needs, and establish and maintain agreement between assigned MultiPlan business units and project teams on the deliverables required to meet the regulatory filing requirements.
Design/develop/debug complex reporting solutions that may involve loading external/internal files (e.g., .xlsx, .txt, URL, etc.), processing files per regulatory requirements, and producing output in State requested template.
Create and/or modify Oracle stored procedures, views, queries, and tables required by operation of the application solution.
Create reports in MS Excel using pivot tables.
Create/implement tests and quality checks, software testing, system risk analysis.
Execute troubleshooting processes respective to incident / defect management, code analysis, software reliability analysis as required.
Maintain application documentation, software analysis, and share knowledge.
Review, track, monitor and report on project status; identify, track and resolve issues by proposing viable solutions.
Assist with identification and implementation of interconnected projects and initiatives for new and enhanced business opportunities throughout the department.
Collaborate amongst colleagues in the design of new features, through effective requirements analysis.
Collaborate on multiple complex technical projects within the department. Identify and drive implementation of enhancements based on project participation as necessary.
Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:
The incumbent works under supervision of a Team Lead or Manager and with discretion to complete the job responsibilities. The incumbent relies on varied knowledge gained through previous experience with non-standard issues to review, analyze, and draw conclusions. In addition, one has authority to act on resolutions of extraordinary issues and provides input to how information is presented to intended recipients. The incumbent may have regular contact with all levels of internal and external sources to complete objectives, while keeping the needs of internal and external customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Computer Science or related field, or 5 years of related experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in reporting, analytics or similar field, preferably within a healthcare environment dealing with provider (practitioner/facility) demographic and contract data.
Experience writing complex SQLs.
Experience creating database objects like procedures, functions, packages, views using dynamic SQL, perform SQL performance tuning.
Experience loading external files (e.g., .xlsx, .txt. URL, etc.) into Oracle for matching/comparison purposes and automating manual tasks.
Experience converting business requirements into actionable items via SQL queries.
Experience accessing data across different databases using Oracle DB links and optimizing performance on the same.
Knowledge and experience with the following technologies required: Oracle and SQL Server Databases, Oracle PL/SQL.
Knowledge of relational database concepts including SQL, indexes, transactions and writing software that communicates with a database.
Knowledge of broad range project methodologies and best practices for requirements definition and management including Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, and SDLC.
Knowledge of facility/provider demographics and contracting is a plus.
Knowledge of developing applications and/or automations using MS Access VBA is a plus.
Ability to quickly attain and understand business processes and function in an evolving atmosphere with detailed accuracy.
Ability to deliver successful projects in a fast-paced corporate setting.
Ability to analyze data and arrive at a logical conclusion.
Ability to assess ramification of issues and prioritize tasks based on business impact.
Ability to use software, hardware and peripherals related to job responsibilities including MS Office Suites, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, database software, etc.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects.
Must be a self-motivated, creative problem-solver who can adapt to new technologies and evolving customer requirements.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $75k-$80k. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
