As a Proofreader/Copyeditor on the Production Team you will be responsible for proofing/editing marketing materials and client deliverables produced by our creative team prior to client review approval and print. Specific responsibilities include proofreading/editing direct email and mail campaigns websites scripts and digital elements to ensure quality control is maintained at the highest levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and evaluate client deliverables for content grammar style and accuracy as well as relevance to the selected campaign
Work collaboratively in a team environment with designers to proactively resolve inaccuracies
Manage and update work assignments via company’s internal CRM platform
Maintain schedule of deadlines for printing and mailing
Maintain communication with Account Teams on deliverables’ status and current work-in-progress using internal processes
Manage copyediting and updating of existing scripts as well as ordering and managing voiceovers. Support Creative team with additional tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
BS or BA degree in English or related field
0-2 years’ professional experience proofreading/editing OR the equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge skills and abilities have been achieved
Excellent proofing/editing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer competency and adept at learning new digital platforms
Outstanding attention to detail and organization
Proficient in MS Office products; knowledge of Excel is a plus!
A familiarity of publication formats
Ability and desire to accurately perform repetitive tasks
Ability to manage multiple projects and work quickly to meet deadlines and produce accurate and high-quality work
Flexible and can adapt to quickly changing priorities and tasks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team setting
Must have a team-player attitude forward-thinking mentality ability to give constructive input and take direction well
