Hybrid Preferred Remote Possible – This role is considered hybrid which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely. A remote opportunity may be possible for qualified candidates under certain circumstances and if granted the employee would work remotely on an ongoing basis.
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance team is responsible for validating all work before it goes to production this includes software: web mobile connected device applications media non-consumer facing products and more. Additionally the Quality Assurance teams creates and maintains the framework used for automation testing at DSS and performs all performance testing.
The QA Analyst II will be responsible for analyzing requirements user stories and design documentation to ensure that they are clearly defined complete and testable. The QA Analyst II will be responsible for the creation and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts to verify new and existing (regression) software functionality. The QA Analyst II will test the applications via Black Box Regression Release Stress and Negative testing methods. The ideal candidate will contribute both to the definition and the enforcement of quality assurance processes and procedures based on best practice methodology.
Responsibilities:

Accountability for participating in test activities creating detailed test plans and writing test cases

Provide status updates for all QA/TPM/Dev resources during the testing cycle

Proactively learn the backend infrastructure new testing and technology trends upcoming releases
Basic Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or a similar customer-centric technical field.

Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

Solid knowledge of digital streaming devices and industry trends.

Experience with mobile apps preferred

Familiar with proxy tools such as Charles Proxy and Wireshark preferred
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent preferred
The hiring range for this position in location is $75000 to $85000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to the full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the level and position offered.
