The Customer Specialist role is to ensure there is a strong and healthy relationship between the Customer Manager, Business Account Manager’s and customers to ensure services are delivered to support the planning and administrative process for CROSSMARK clients and customers.
Accurate and timely input of promotional plans into Customer Portal, if applicable, or submit CROSSVIEW Planner (CVP) Super Form to the CROSSMARK Service Delivery Center (CSDC) for entry.
Review promotional contracts from CVP for all customers in your region of responsibility, independently or with direction from the CM. Review any necessary changes with the Trade Specialist and notify Trade Specialist if a revised contract was uploaded. Print contracts as necessitated.
Generate any and all miscellaneous customer documents required. Examples include new Client forms, sell sheets, surveys, etc.
Scan all deductions invoices and email to respective PODs for upload. Upload all remaining customer deduction invoices and check requests into ARCollect within 24 hours of receipt.
Resolve all ARCollect issues assigned to you – collaborate with the Customer Manager and Trade Specialist as needed primarily for repays and pricing issues.
Generate the customer price change forms for submission to the customers or EDI if applicable.
Enter new items in Customer Portal or submit to CSDC for entry.
Work with the CSDC, Trade Specialists and the Governance team to maintain deduction levels within the client parameters.
Work with the Trade Specialist to resolve order issues for your respective customers and involve the Customer Manager if needed. Ex. price changes.
Maintain authorized products, buying points and any customer specific zone pricing in eXchangeBridge.
Responsible for adding/maintaining all customer forms by submitting changes to FORMS.
Assist in daily activities of running the office such as answering phones, mail, deliveries, etc.
Any ad hoc support as requested by regional CROSSMARK management team.
Ability to handle competing priorities and manage change.
Review Customer planning with Customer Manager.
Discuss status of deductions with the CROSSMARK Service Delivery Center.
Discuss CROSSVIEW Planner accuracy issues with Trade Specialist.
Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance, or High School diploma and 2 to 3 years of experience in Trade Spend or related Finance experience.
Experience: 2 years of experience in Trade Spend or related Finance experience.
Physical Demands: None.
Knowledge of trade deduction management process.
Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Experience with Customer portals such as DemandTec or SVHarbor.
Good working knowledge of ARCollect preferred.
Good working knowledge of eXchangeBridge preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good working knowledge of CROSSVIEW Planner preferred.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task to meet deadlines.
Customer service oriented.
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Working Conditions: Primary work environment is in respective offices and will be performed in Desk environment.
Travel Requirements: May be required to travel for Client TPM training as needed.
Language Skills: English is the primary language skill, however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
