We are building out our small but mighty Customer Support team to work with some of the best venture capital firms and startups in the world. We are hiring a passionate and self-driven team player who is a tenacious problem solver, detail-oriented, and enjoys working directly with customers.


The Customer Support Analyst plays a critical role in supporting our customers and founders, helping with day-to-day platform usage, answering incoming questions, and troubleshooting unexpected issues. This person will collaborate closely with our data operations, engineering, and product teams and will be on the front-lines learning from our customers and founders, helping us rapidly iterate on Standard Metrics’ product.


Responsibilities

Identify, respond to, and resolve issues and questions raised by Standard Metrics’ customers and founders via incoming live chat and email inquiries
Prioritize and context-switch effectively to execute on simultaneous cases, seeing each through to completion
Evaluate the criticality of issues and escalate problems internally as appropriate
Work in complex data sets to identify and resolve issues


Conduct client trainings and ad hoc screen shares to ensure customers are able to manage Standard Metrics themselves
Work effectively with Product and Customer Success teams to manage and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to resolve issues and conduct root-cause analysis
Assist with product documentation to enhance our Help Center, including the creation of self-serve tutorials
Become an expert on all things Standard Metrics


Requirements

1+ years of relevant experience in a client-facing role or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Entrepreneurship
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, natural empathy for customers, and a passion and excitement for helping people and solving problems
Knowledge of finance and accounting
Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines
Reliable, trustworthy and driven by a hunger to learn
Passion for technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and/or venture capital is a plus
