About the Role: 

The Manager of HR Operations & Technology will lead our efforts at executing world class HR processes and employee support. Improving our processes, establishing service level agreements, creating decision enhancing analytics, leveraging technology whenever possible and building our HR capabilities to successfully scale as Extend continues to grow.


What you’ll do: 

Guiding and management of company’s HR policies and regulations and designing and implementing those company’s HR policies.
Evaluating key HR metrics for monitoring performance and creating reporting dashboards and analytics for decision makers.


Creating internal People / HR Team metrics to track performance.
Partnering with IT to assess, monitor and improve HRIS (Dayforce) and other applications and tools used by the People team.
Tracking team budgets and helping modify as needed.
Addressing employees’ queries (e.g., on compensation and labor regulations).
Recommending software for addressing the needs of employees (e.g., performance review tools etc.)


Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop plans to implement corrective action.
Help build the team’s capability to deliver high quality service at scale.
Manage the HR Service Delivery Model ticketing and issue resolution process.
Partner and collaborate with cross functional teams like Rev Ops, Payroll, Legal, and IT to ensure successful HR processes.


Oversees federal, state and local regulatory compliance matters with respect to payroll, employment, labor and immigration matters.
Internal ad-hoc reporting/ government required reporting (multiple worksite quarterly reports, EEO, SOC audit, compliance training).
Compensation & Leveling – Keeping abreast on current compensation market trends and ensuring alignment to company wide leveling.


Primary contact for all immigrant and non-immigrant employment and permanent resident sponsorship requests. Gathers, processes and tracks all documentation for current employees and new hires in consultation with external immigration counsel.
Lead and manage benefits administration including medical, retirement, and various flexible benefit accounts. This includes management throughout the year as well as open enrollment, and overseeing billing and other administrative tasks.


Manages Leave of Absence Program, including communicating federal and state leave laws and company policies to employees. Partners with a third party, Sparrow to prepare and track leaves.
Maintaining finance headcount sheet data, capturing new hire data, promotions, organizational changes and equity grant tracking & approval with Legal.
Other projects and duties as assigned.


What We Are Looking for: 

At least 5 years experience in an HR role with strong preference for experience managing the full cycle operations of an HR function
Bachelor’s degree or an additional 3 years experience in field in lieu of a degree.
Excellent technical skills with strong knowledge of technologies, applications and systems used in HR and Recruiting.


Tremendous attention to detail and outstanding planning and project management skills to properly prioritize and complete work effectively and efficiently.
Good communication skills both interpersonal, written and in training or public speaking.
Professional and ethical individual who respects and is able to confidently manage sensitive data and privacy issues.
Experience creating and implementing analytics.
Although this role is remote, a willingness to travel occasionally as needed is required.
Expected Pay Range: $100,000 – $140,000 per year*


*The target base salary range for this position is listed above. Individual salaries are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location and job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
