Job Description:

Open to remote applicants in the United States

As a Billing Reconciliation Specialist within the Digital Media Operations team you will be responsible for media billing reconciliation for a large grocery client. You will compare Insertions Orders (IOs) against monthly delivery data housed in various platforms and systems. You will analyze compare and reconcile delivery information to ensure timely and accurate billing to the client. You will ensure data is precisely maintained in and across various systems tools and dashboards and that all processes and procedures are being correctly met. You will assist the Media Operation Manager in the development of new procedures and standards to ensure accurate client billing. You will report into the Media Operations Manager. This role is part of Merkle’s New Stream Media capability focusing on eRetail Retail Media Network and Shopper Marketing.

  • Compare and analyze Insertion Orders against impressions delivered in various platforms on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Create QA and deliver other delivery reports as assigned
  • Enter and maintain precise and reliable data across multiple systems platforms and dashboards.
  • Provide accurate reporting and communication to client in relation to monthly billing data discrepancies and reconciliation.
  • Comply with established policies and procedures
  • Help develop implement and document processes in conjunction with Media Ops Manager with a focus on automation and reducing risk of human error.

Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with the Media Ops Manager and internal stakeholders for ongoing process improvements.

  • Assist Media Ops Manager in providing summaries of monthly billing and reconciliation and assist with any billing related issues.
  • Help resolve discrepancies and issues with vendors or client to ensure reconciliation timelines are met.
  • Partner closely with Media Operations team to ensure optimal cross functional communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative analytics financial marketing or related discipline preferred (recent college grads welcome!)
  • Understanding of or experience in finance and A/P processes and procedures preferred
  • Basic understanding of digital media and digital marketing campaign tools and platforms ex. Google Ads Facebook Instagram preferred
  • Media billing and reconciliation experience a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a deep love of numbers and data.
  • Self-motivated high-capacity individual who can function in a demanding performance-driven environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented worker with ability to handle multiple projects prioritize responsibilities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Additional Information:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51000-$80000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience knowledge skills other job-related qualifications and geography.
