Position:
The Product Owner will work cross-functionally to identify product needs, define executable requirements, and, in partnership with engineering, deliver product features in support of the Medical Network – Operational Tooling product roadmap. This position combines the benefits of joining a fast-growing, agile team while leveraging Change Healthcare’s robust set of healthcare technology capabilities.


Core Responsibilities:

Compiles high-level business needs for the project. The PO elicits the requirements from internal and external clients across business units, third-party partners, and product stakeholders using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis. Works closely with Product Manager and stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are understood.


Translates business needs into solution design artifacts, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are clear and concise. Participates in internal customer demos and validation of features and user stories. Shares artifacts with internal stakeholders for go-to-market decisions, prioritization, and execution.
Works with onshore and offshore development teams, considers the requirements of customers and stakeholders to clarify and prioritize engineering work between the existing product back log, new features and enhancements, and technical debt.


Establishes timeframe and expectations for delivery of commitments and tracks the project team by leading scrum activities, understanding and managing project risks, and proactively escalating issues to the team to enable predictive product delivery.
Performs User Acceptance Testing activities for product development and enhancements to ensure the product meets the business requirements.


Requirements:

2+ years product management, project management, healthcare, medical transaction processing or management consulting experience

Experience with Agile development processes

Experience with project management tools (Confluence, Jira, AHA or similar roadmap tools)


Preferred Qualifications:

Effective at prioritizing tasks, managing time, expectations, organizing people, and getting things done with a strong attention to detail

Able to learn complex concepts quickly and communicate them to diverse sets of stakeholders

Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

Strong analytical, oral and written communication, presentation and relationship-building skills

Familiarity with the software development lifecycle

Familiarity with customer facing (internal and external) / UX product design

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

0-25% – for offsite internal meetings, conferences, and training sessions

New York and New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for New York City, NY and Westchester County, NY is $88,895 – $154,560. The salary range for Ithaca, NY is $77,300– $128,800. The salary range for Jersey City, NJ is $92,760 – $154,560.
