Virta is growing rapidly. We’ve doubled our year over year revenue for the last several years, and are on track to do it again this year. As the Senior Accountant, you will have an immediate impact by maintaining our current month-end process, work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and implement new processes to support Virta’s continued growth.


This is a REMOTE role.

Responsibilities

Prepare revenue recognition models related to month-end close
Perform inventory/COGS reconciliations and work with operations team on any required reporting
Prepare various other journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations
Work with the FP&A team on internal financial reporting, including budget versus actual analyses and other reporting as required
Assist with project management functions in finance
90 Day Plan


Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

Establish a strong understanding of the existing month-end close process
Establish strong working relationships with Revenue Cycle Management, FP&A, Operations and other internal departments
Take ownership of preparing financial statement areas including, but not limited to, revenue and inventory


Must-Haves

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2+ years of experience
Experience with ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition
Ability to read and analyze financial statements/reports
Comfort with ambiguity and lack of formally defined processes
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Highly organized and detail oriented
CPA License – Preferred

Throughout your career at Virta, you will be expected to follow Virta’s security and privacy procedures to ensure our patients’ information remains strictly confidential. Security and privacy training will be provided.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. Virta has a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
