Position Summary: 

The Sr Customer Insights Specialist will lead the application of advanced analytics and customer insights to drive actionable insights and portfolio recommendations across our rapidly growing organization.

Essential Job Functions: 

Serve as an expert on innovative data tools, techniques and strategies to maintain the highest standards of data quality
Develop insights through advanced analytics utilizing multiple tools, syndicated data, customer sales data, internal proprietary data, etc
Develop/create customer studies to gain insight into customer uncertainty and risks
Translate feedback and data trends into insights to use for business intelligence, attribute selections and weighting decisions

Create insights partnership with key customer facing groups and establish a process to close the feedback loop
Develop user personas and use cases to guide product owners when creating new products/features and enhancements
Create engaging presentations that clearly communicate and defend complex analysis, recommendations, and alternatives

Assist in building a true Voice of Customer program across the org
Identify challenges within the customer journey
Influence brand and sales strategies by obtaining insights from integration and analysis of multiple tools and data sets
Lead customers on beta journeys, keeping them engaged throughout the process
Contribute expertise to Customer Intelligence with ad hoc projects

Position Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of research and business practices, marketing principles and manufacturing processes
Strong knowledge of predictive analytics, demand modeling, and statistical analysis with big data, (DOMO)
Advanced skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Experience in the transportation industry a plus
Strong analytics, technical and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize raw data and develop actionable insights
Strong verbal and visual presentation skills to present complex data analysis and solutions
Superior problem resolution skills and ability to forge through obstacles with tact and focus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
