About the Position

This role will report to Rev’s Sr. Director of Accounting. As a member of the Revenue Accounting team, you will be responsible for the month-end close process, assisting with implementation of enterprise billing platform, seeking process enhancements to improve efficiency, managing customer accounts (including contract review), and assisting with client collections.


Responsibilities

Complete month-end close activities for revenue recognition and accounts receivable related accounts
Assist with managing the order to cash process for enterprise customers, including contract and order review, customer set up, order processing, billing, and assisting with collections activities
Partner with product and engineering teams to assist with implementation of enterprise billing platform
Manage and analyze large amounts of raw data


Review current order to cash and revenue recognition processes and procedures and implement improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with accounting and support teams regarding invoicing and revenue issues
Respond to order and billing issues and inquiries from internal and external customers
Partner with other departments to manage customer accounts
Aid with external audit support
Ensure compliance with ASC 606
Perform other accounting duties, such as payroll processing and other close responsibilities, as well as ad hoc projects


Qualifications

BA degree in Accounting; CPA a plus (though not required)
5-7 years of full-cycle accounting experience
Experience working for company that has high volume billing
Strong knowledge and experience in billing, collections, and contract review
Ability to work within excel with large data sets


Comfortable working in the details; no task is too small
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers, at all levels
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity
In addition to the qualifications listed above,

Experience with Ordway and Zuora would be a plus
Experience in applying ASC 606 would be great
Experience with system implementation would be phenomenal
