ChargeNet Stations is building the electric vehicle charging solution of the future. As more electric vehicles hit the road, our mission is to develop a charging experience that delivers low-cost renewable charging to quick-serve restaurant customers while providing much-needed reliability to the grid, all while providing a clean, super-friendly user experience.
Our cloud-based software optimizes and stacks solar, storage, and charging into one consolidated solution that can be seamlessly integrated into retail and restaurant point-of-sale systems. By further utilizing consumer data, we optimize customer electric vehicle charging, allowing for increased operational efficiency and station utilization.
The Sr. Front End Developer will be responsible for leading the technical development and build out of ChargeNet’s frontend software. The User Interface Developer will be building custom components to achieve specific functions that line up with the look and feel provided from ChargeNet’s design team.
Specific Duties
Lead the creation and maintenance of ChargeNet Stations’ front end application including management of electric car charging, interaction with point of sale, and setup and responses to surveys
Assistance in design of front end features
Build and maintain ChargeNet Stations site-management website dashboard
Assist with managing a team working towards the aforementioned duties
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience building production user interface software
At least 3 years of experience working on team-based software
Proficiency in React Native or extensive experience in React and fluent in Typescript
Proficiency developing extensible, object-oriented software using test-driven development techniques
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Independent and proactive, experience building new products
English-fluency
Experience with Git version control
Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Experience with state management systems (preferably Apollo)
Experience deploying a project to online production
Passion for green technology
Preferred Experience
Experience developing applications that incorporate point-of-sale
Knowledge of power, energy, and electrical physics and markets
Familiarity with Jira
Experience with pub-sub architecture
Experience with front-end development
Start-up experience
Have managed and organized any form of version control with a team for at least one project.
