What to Expect
Disclaimer: This position is expected to start around January 2023 and continue through the entire Winter/Spring term (i.e. through April/May) or into early Summer 2023 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, for most internships. Please consider before submitting an application.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

The Tesla internship program invites a select group of students to participate in their Spring internship program. This unique opportunity allows for college students to get hands-on experience with some of the best minds in the industry, while also learning about cutting-edge technology and sustainable transportation. The company offers various types of internships that range from engineering roles to financial positions.

Our team is seeking a skilled Real Estate Intern to assist with our continued growth. Tesla’s mission is to create an environment for our high performing teams that allows them to realize their true potential. Our team partners with a huge variety of groups with disparate needs from design and engineering, to supply chain and manufacturing, sales, service and support. Whatever group we partner with, we constantly push ourselves to approach challenges from first principles. Together we are focused on optimizing the space we have, finding the best solutions to our immediate term expansion needs, and devising and driving our long-term strategy.
This position will be based remotely.
What You’ll Do
· Assist with portfolio management and review of leases and renewals
· Help streamline and build efficiencies of existing programs and tools
· Manage project timelines and goals
· Project Administration
· Create marketing Materials
· Perform Zoning/entitlement checks, complete zoning application requests, etc.
· Assist real estate managers as needed to create real estate packages for leadership approval
What You’ll Bring
Currently working towards a BS, MS, or advanced degree in a relevant business program such as Real Estate, Finance, Business Management, Economics or related
Previous internship and project experience is a plus
Strong capacity for both logical and creative thinking
Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and evaluate priorities
Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with other teams while able to work independently; detail-oriented and execution focused
Identify and implement continuous improvement activities for cost reduction strategies
Some teams prefer previous experience with Microsoft Tools, Google Maps, and Municipality Zoning Programs
