Profile Summary:

As a Technology Specialist, you will seek feedback from advisors/end user on technology solutions and work with new or existing vendors to offer a full suite of solutions.  This would include executing planning, requirements, UAT and implementation of technology solutions. This role also supports the business by working with sales, IT and operational teams to solve IT related production issues and to assist in the implementation and maintenance of various IT platforms and systems.

Profile Description:

Work with stakeholders (advisors / end users) to evaluate current technology offerings, identify gaps or opportunities and ways improve or implement solutions required for the Broker Dealer to be successful
Work collaboratively with leadership and other departments to deliver new product opportunities timely and efficiently

Document business and functional requirements, create and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), and perform production checkout in coordination with internal and technology vendor release schedules
Develops and updates project plans listing the tasks, resources, and target dates.  Builds due dates into assignments in order for team to meet project plan target dates and effectively communicates milestones and potential watchouts with senior leadership team and department
Assists with the maintenance, support and implementation of various IT related systems in addition to third-party vendor platforms

Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with current and potential vendors.
Conduct interviews with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, establish vendor responsibilities, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
Establish standards, continually monitor servicequality metrics, and assess industry and digital trends to seize upon new innovative solutions that help differentiate VFA’s value.

Act as an escalation point to and for the technology solutions provider, on all activities related to the team’s day to day operations.
Helps to perform and streamline onboarding/offboarding processes and access requests of technology solutions provider personnel to allow necessary access to perform their duties

Other duties as assigned 

Knowledge & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Excellent written and oral communication skills
1-5 years process management and improvement skills
1-5 years business acumen across several lines of Financial Services

May travel if required

Voya is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when it can be performed by a Colorado resident.

The below base salary range reflects the expected hiring ranges for this position in the location listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

CO Base Salary Range: $63,370 – $87,130
